This is a great place to stock up before heading out to camp or stay in one of the surrounding area cabins or hotels. For a lot of supermarket items this is the only place between Willits and maybe Fortuna.

The parking lot can have a few people hanging out in it who look pretty ragged.
I lock my car and expect to be asked for money. Some appear pretty intoxicated. Some probably live out on the street. Most of the rest of the main drag of Garberville has the same kind of people that we usually call homeless. When i was last in the market i saw a couple such folk in the store as clients and at least one of the staff knew with one of them bu first name.
